According to private weather agency SkyMet, a cyclonic circulation is developing over North Arabian Sea off Gujarat and Maharashtra coast due to which scattered light to moderate rain is expected over Gujarat region during the next 2 to 3 days.
The agency further mentioned in its observation, “rainfall activity will be more over southern coastal districts such as Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Junagadh and Rajkot. This may be the last spell of rain over Gujarat as the Southwest Monsoon has started withdrawing from West Rajasthan. By next week it is expected to withdraw from Saurashtra and Kutch as well.”
