The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), has been ranked 15th in the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management Rankings 2015 released today.

Over the past six years, the Institute has ranked consistently among the Top Twenty programs worldwide.

Last year, the Institute was 16th in rankings.

IIMA was ranked number one worldwide on placement-related criteria, such as “salary,” “employed at three months,” and “company internships.” It was one of the top ranked institutions in related criteria, such as “careers” and “placement success.”

The Institute was also top ranked in “faculty with doctorates” with 100% of IIMA faculty meeting that metric.

“Rankings are useful for benchmarking how we are doing compared to peer institutions,” noted IIMA director, Prof. Ashish Nanda.

“We are pleased that the Institute continues to be highly regarded for the quality of education and career opportunities it provides to its students. We will endeavor to maintain excellence in the educational experience. We are also committed to increasing the diversity of the IIMA community and have taken specific steps, including introduction of supernumerary seats for international students and revisions to our admissions process towards achieving this objective,” he said.
