Further hearing on Hardik Patel habeas corpus plea on October 8

Further hearing of habeas corpus plea regarding Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS) convener Hardik Patel will be held on October 8 in Gujarat High Court.

Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS) convener Hardik Patel today appeared in Gujarat High Court with his lawyer Babu Mangukia who is Congress party’s legal cell head.

Hardik presented detailed affidavit of over 50 pages before court. The High Court asked Hardik’s lawyer to file a short affidavit explaining allegation of abduction.

Advocate General told court that allegations of abduction was demoralizing Gujarat Police.

The Gujarat High Court slammed Hardik and his lawyer asking them to withdraw the writ. Hardik’s lawyer said he was ready to withdraw the allegations.

High Court told Hardik Patel’s lawyer and the state government to make sure peace prevails in the state.

Gandhinagar Range IG Hasmukh Patel and Arvalli district SP Mayursinh Chavda were present in courtroom. Court asked not to make the issue further aggressive.

13 Police Inspectors, 37 Police Sub Inspectors, DCPs and ACPs were on duty inside and outside the court.
