Dr Hardik Patel arrested for rioting in Ahmedabad on19 September

On 19th September, Patidar community people had blocked a road in east part of Ahmedabad protesting the arrests of Patidar community youths including Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti convener Hardik Patel in Surat. When Rabari community people opposed such road block, a clash irrupted between Rabaris from Rabari colony and Patidars from Amraiwadi. Local police had number of video camera teams accompanying them in vehicles and also on some buildings. Through one such video footage it was found that Dr Hardik Patel was provoking locals for stone pelting. Dr Patel’s hospital is located opposite Vastral RTO. Ramol police has arrested Dr Patel for rioting.
