6% hike in dearness allowance for Gujarat govt employees

Gujarat government today announced 6% hike in dearness allowance of state government employees with effect from 1st July 2015. A state government release issued here this evening said that the DA is increased from 113 percent to 119 percent with effect from July 1. Panchayat employees will also benefit from today’s announcement. The brief statement said that the decision will incur an expenditure of Rs 829 crore per year on the state exchequer.
