GSRTC halts operation in Morbi belt

In the name of Patidar agitation, which has been lately a mindless, directionless, whimsical, vicious and one-person centric anti-government casteist agitation, the nuisance creators in Morbi belt continue to damage public properties.

During the last 24 hours, some goons associated with this agitation have torched three buses of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) in Morbi-Maliya belt. It needs, four to five persons only to set a bus on fire in dark night on interior highway road. The anti-social elements associated with the agitation are handful. When they gave bandh call in Morbi town yesterday, it evoked no response. Neither Patidar community, nor other persons outside this community are with such rowdy behavior of handful of agitators – some misguided and some others with their clear political goals. But due to these few rough people, many others have to suffer. In latest, the ST bus transportation on Morbi-Rajkot highway has been stopped by GSRTC as preventive measure. 50 buses to Morbi and 45 to Wankaner are withdrawn from operation.

Now imagine, due to some rough elements, how may people will actually suffer due to unavailability of ST buses? Women, children, old people, students(when there’s exam period going on),poor villagers, job goers … all will suffer. By doing such mindless agitation, the blot like agitators who are few are spoiling the name of one community.

In another development, a group of agitators burnt tyre to stop traffic at Ravapar canal chowkdi in Morbi. When police tried to stop them, they pelted stones over police men in which two police sub inspectors are reportedly injured.

Barring this act of few rowdy elements, sense has prevailed in Gujarat and people are into their routine activities, celebrating Navratri.
