Former Union Minister holding chappals for Rahul Gandhi, pics go viral

Pictures of former Union Minister for Prime Minister’s office holding footwear in his hand for party vice president Rahul Gandhi went viral today on social media. Rahul was visiting flood-hit area of Puducherry. Former Minister Narayanasamy was accompanying him. Narayanasamy is seen in photos holding chappals in his hand for Rahul Gandhi. Narayanasamy said, “I am proud of what I did. I offered my chappals to Rahul Gandhi and walked barefoot before someone gave me footwear some distance away.” It should be mentioned that Rahul Gandhi(45) is very junior and younger compared to Narayanasamy(68) but Rahul wore them without any ado. On social media, lot of handles are seen making fun of what they describe ‘Congress culture’ to bend down before a dynasty, a family.
