Gujarat govt announces promotion of officers

Gujarat government today announced promotion of four 1991 batch IAS officers to Principal Secretary rank. They have been continued on their existing post. The officers promoted are Dr. Jayanti Ravi, Smt Anju Sharma, Shri SJ Haider and Shri Jagdish Prasad Gupta.
The government has also promoted five 2000 batch IAS officers to higher scale. They are Vinod Rao, M. Thennarasan, Anupam Anand, Milind Torawane and DP Joshi.
Similarly year 2003 batch IAS officers Shri Roopwant Singh, Dr. Sandhya Bhullar, Shri Swaroop P., Smt Avantika Singh Aulakh and Shri JK Astik, Shri Pravin Solanki and BK Thackerare are also promoted.
Officers promoted to the IAS are HJ Vyas, JK Gadhvi, PL Solanki, JB Patel, HK Koya, AM Sharma, JR Dodiya, MY Daxini, AJ Shah, DS Gadhvi, RB Rajyaguru and DP Desai.
Promoted officers continue to function on their existing position.
