Shiv Sena files case against PAAS leader in Morbi for “sending cows for slaughter”

Shiv Sena has lodged a case against prominent Patidar Anamat Aandolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Manoj Panara here for allegedly sending cows from his cattle-shed for slaughter.
Local Shiv-Shena activists have lodged the FIR in the A-Division police station here after catching a mini truck loaded with ten sterile cows of the said cattle-shed.
District head of the party Digubha Jhala today said that they had information that cows from the cattle-shed near Khanpur were being sent to Narmada district reportedly for slaughter. ‘We caught the truck near Sanada on the Rajkot highway and informed the police. Later we also filed a case against Manoj, the owner of the cattle-shed in this regard.’
Meanwhile Saurashtra Pramukh of Shiv Sena Jimi Advani said that his party was running a campaign against attempts of cow slaughter in the region. “Our activist are conducting raids during night based on tip offs,’ he said.
