In an unusual event of insight among wild animals, it suspected that a lion killed leopard and also consumed its flesh after infight.

The incident took place at Bahadurbhai Govindbhai Vaghela’s farm in Kariya village of Bhesan taluka.

The fight took place at 11.00 pm on Friday possibly between lion and leopard in which leopard was defeated so badly that its one foot was found unattached due to injury. On Saturday morning when Bahadurbhai visited his farm he saw dead body of leopard which was consumed very well.

Bahadurbhai called forest department after this.

According to Mathurbhai Mathukiya, a local villager sounds of infight between wild animals were heard on Friday night from same farm.

It is believed that leopard would never eat another leopard’s flesh and therefore it was an infight between lion and leopard, after which lion consumed leopard.
