Thundershower in Ahmedabad, other parts of Gujarat, more likely in 24 hours

It was almost sudden.

Yesterday night ( or say early morning ) there was thundershower in Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat.

The sky was roaring with frequent lightning and drizzle followed by moderate round of showers.

The atmosphere suddenly today morning in Ahmedabad is gloomy, whitish and cloudy.

IMD Gujarat circle has in its forecast predicted possibility of light rain/thundershower at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra, Kutch and Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli till 8.30 am on 4th of March, followed by dry weather in same areas from 8.30 am on 4th of March to 8.30 am on 7th of March.

IMD Gujarat office attributes the rain spell to cyclonic circulation over Saurashtra-Kutch and adjoining north-east Arabian sea which now lies over Gujarat and adjoining south Rajasthan extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
