Grand wedding of cow and bull in Gujarat

Rs 18 lakh will be spent for wedding of Ahmedabad based cow ‘Punam’ with Bagdana based bull ‘Arjun’ on March 24 evening.
Wedding procession of Punam will leave Ahmedabad based Bhagwat Vidyapith with over 300 participants.
Silver ornaments are specially made for bride Punam for her wedding.
Shri Vijay Parsana, Trustee of Parsana Charitable Trust said he keeps cows for last 30 years not just for its milk but due to several other benifits. The intention to hold wedding of cow is to spread message of benifits of rearing cows.
Parsana said he has two cows that are named as Radha and Punam.
He said he is going to celebrate the wedding of his cow like she is his daughter. Bull Arjun lives in Dahegiri Bapu’s place at Kotiyadham near Bagdana where 55 cows are there.
