Gujarat BJP today clarified that change of guard in Gujarat is just a rumor and there’s no fact in it.
Gujarat BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya in a statement issued by state BJP said, “today Chief Minister Anandiben Patel was in Delhi to attend water scarcity related meeting and minister Nitinbhai Patel was in Delhi to attend NEET related meeting. To present these meetings in different perspective is false propoganda and rumor only. There’s not iota of truth.

The statement further reads, on one side central government led by Narendrabhai and state government led by Anandiben Patel are completing two years and party organization is preparing for its planning and events, on one side when under the leadership of Anandiben Patel, Gujarat is progressing in all areas, such baseless matters are strongly refuted.
It should be mentioned here that after a news report in north India based English daily The Tribune that Anandiben is going to be made Governor of Punjab, rumors are circulating in Gujarat that Anandiben is going to be replaced by senior most minister Nitinbhai Patel as Chief Minister.
