79.3 % pass Gujarat Board Class 12 Science exams

79.3 % or 106372 of the total 134598 students who appeared in the Class 12 science exam of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board this year have passed.
Announcing the results of the exam here today education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma said that 763 students have passed with A 1 grade (91 to 100 percentile) while 5399 have made it in A 2 grade.
Girl students have 80.91 pass percentage while boys 77.97%.
Rajkot (93.83%) has emerged as the number one district with regard to the pass percentage while Chhota Udepur (31.52%) has the worst performance.
The pass percentage this year is less by around 6% as compared to that of last year. The result can also be seen on the GSEB website and know through a helpline number created for the purpose by the board.
Class X results wil be declared on May 24.
