Five hooligans nabbed for hurling eggs during BJP’s function in Surat

At least five hooligans were nabbed by police here today in connection with the incident of hurling egg and trying to disrupt a function of the ruling BJP in Varachha area of the city.
Five youths four of whom have been identified as Sanjay Mavani, Dinesh Patel, Jignesh Patel and Nihar Malaviya, have been nabbed, police said today.
They were involved in hurling eggs during the Vikas Gaurav Yatra event of the ruling BJP organized yesterday in Varachha area of the city. The event was one in the series of such state wide events to mark the successful completion of two years of rule of the party at center and in Gujarat.
Police said that all the five hooligans nabbed were supporters of quota agitation of particular community.
