The way Modi government is working has made me proud: Advani

Veteran BJP leader, former deputy prime minister and incumbent Loksabha MP from Gandhinagar constituency L K Advani today once again praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying the way his government was working has made him proud.

Mr. Advani, who arrived here in connection with the Vikas Parv Yatra event of the party on the occasion of the completion of the two years of the Modi government at center as well as the Mrs. Anandiben Patel government in the state, said that the people of the country were happy with the Modi government.

‘In the past two years the Modi government has worked quite well and in the way it should. I am proud of it,’ the veteran BJP leader, who was once allegedly against Mr. Modi’s projection as the prime ministerial candidate of the party said.

Mr. Advani also hold a road show of sorts in his constituency.

He said that as an MP he would let people know the achievements of the Modi government.

To a query regarding the strong criticism of the Modi government by the Congress party, Mr. Advani said that it was but natural for an opposition party to do so.
Mr. Advani would also participate in a party function at the Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad which would also be attended by Chief Minister Mrs Anandiben Patel and union minister Ramshanker Kathiriya and BJP national secretary Suresh Pujari.
