At least 13 union ministers may visit Gujarat in next 15 days

Gandhinagar, DeshGujarat

A few days ago in Dahod union Petroleum and Natural Gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan made announcement of 40 lakh new gas connection for Gujarat. Another Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman visited Surat and heard citizen’s concern about air connectivity very sincerely. She returned to Delhi and ensured Air India’s regular connectivity to Surat, announcement for which was made yesterday from Delhi by Air India. Yesterday Union minister Nitin Gadkari committed Rs 2 lakh crore works under his ministry in next three years in Gujarat during his speech at Somnath.

As part of outreach programme of Modi government on completion of two years in power, more union ministers are going to visit Gujarat. Each of them will mostly take night halt in Gujarat as per party’s order(even Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as MP visited Meghalaya and had night halt there under outreach drive).

As per the programme shared by BJP sources which may change in some cases, number of ministers are going to attend ‘Vikas Parv Sammelans’ in Gujarat at different places during 27th May to 15 June.

At least 13 union ministers may visit Gujarat in next 15 days

Union Environment and Forests minister Shri Prakash Javdekar will be visiting Valsad on 4 June along with Shri B.S. Yediurappa and Parshottam Rupala.

External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj will be visiting Godhra(Panchmahal district) on 7 June along with MoS Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and party leader S.P. Sing(who is heading party’s Other Backward Class morcha).

Urban Development minister Shri Venkaiah Naidu will be visiting Rajkot city on 8 June along with MoS Finance in centre Shri Jayant Sinhaji and party’s national spokesperson Shri Vijay Sonkar Shastriji.

On 14th of June union minister Shri Kalraj Miishraji will be visiting Jamnagar along with Shri Kailash Vijayvargiy(party’s national general secretary) and Shri Mohanbhai Kundaria(MoS in centre and Gujarat MP in Lok Sabha).

While Ahmedabad and Surat have witnessed their portion of party’s nationwide outreach programme, lineups for more cities are ready.

Road and Transport minister Shri Nitin Gadkari will visit Vadodara, Defense minister Shri Manohar Parrikar will visit Gandhidham in border district of Kutch, Science and Technology minister Dr. Harshvardhan will visit Bhavanagar, Finance minister Shri Arun Jaitley will visit Anand, Railway minister Shri Suresh Prabhu will visit Mahesana and Home minister Shri Rajnath Singh will visit Porbandar.

There’s no doubt that each minister will be asked questions by local media related to pending issues of Gujarat under their ministry. Same issues will be raised by local people too during interactions. Some newer announcements and some details on already completed or ongoing tasks will also be shared during such visits.

The carpet bombing outreach plan is much better than the first anniversary of Modi government last year. The aggressive outreach programms in Gujarat is timely as the state is going to witness general elections of assembly next year, and this is proper time to tell the voters what their government has done in last two years. After all Gujarat had given all 26 Lok Sabha seats to BJP.
