Hours after he met Narendrabhai, Rajkot based Dr Doshi passed away in Delhi

New Delhi: In a series of tweets late in the evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described a happy meeting followed by sad incident.

Dr Prafullbhai Doshi and his family is associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for many decades. Shri Doshi and family today evening met Prime Minister Modi at latter’s residence in Delhi. Old memories were cherished during this interaction which was joined by three generations of Doshis.

Doshis visited Shri Modi at 5.00 pm and just after 10.00 pm Shri Prafull Doshi suffered cardiac arrest in Delhi itself.

Shri Modi in series of Hindi tweets shared this incident on micro blogging social media site Twitter.

Modi tweeted in Hindi(here’s rough translation):I myself experienced today that how sometimes limitless happiness convert into limitless feeling of sadness. My old associate Dr Prafullbhai Doshi today came to meet me with family. We recollected old memories. I met him at 5.00 pm and just before sometime I came to know that this was the last meeting. He passed away in Delhi itself. I pray God to give peace to his soul and give strength to his family.

उनसे शाम 5 बजे भेंट हुई और थोड़ी देर पहले पता चला कि ये मुलाकात आखिरी थी। दिल्ली में ही उन्होंने देह त्याग कर दिया।
