Rajasthan government organizes road-show in Ahmedabad for GRAM – 2016

Ahmedabad: Rajasthan government today organized a road show here to invite industrialists and farmers from neighbouring Gujarat to participate in the forthcoming Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM-2016) to be held at Jaipur.

Minister of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and Ground Water of Rajasthan Mrs Kiran Maheshwari also participated in the road show for the event to be held from November 9 to 11.

Principal Secretary of the PHED and Ground Water department, J C Mohanty said that the objective of the road-show was to showcase investment opportunities in agribusiness and allied sectors in Rajasthan and position of the state as a preferred investment destination. Over 50 thousand agriculturists would participate in the international event which would also have representation from Netherlands, Israel, Australia and Canada. The mega event would offer platform for the participating companies and service providers to showcase their latest offerings and global best practices in farming and allied activities

A video presentation about the agricultural scenario in Rajasthan was also made during the even which was also attended by MD of Rajasthan Co-operative Dairy Federation, Rajesh Verma, Chairman of FICCI Gujarat RAjiv Vastupal and other eminent figures from agri business sector.
