Gujarat govt transfers over twenty IAS officers

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has in its latest move, transferred 23 Indian Administrative Service(IAS) officers.

Mukesh Puri, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat Maritime Board and Ex-officio Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport Department who holds additional charge as Principal Secretary, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department is transferred from the post of Vice Chairman and Chief Executive, Gujarat Maritime Board and Ex-officio Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport department and full-fledged appointed as Principal Secretary, Narmada, Water resources, Water supply and Kalpsar department.

Additional Chief Secretary(ACS) Home MS Dagur has been given additional charge of ACS Ports and Transport department(Ports) replacing Mukesh Puri.

Secretary to CM Ajay Bhadoo has been transferred tot he post of Vice Chairman and CEO Gujarat Maritime Board.

Secretary(Housing and Nirmal Gujarat) Ashwani Kumar has been transferred as Secretary to Chief Minister replacing Ajay Bhadoo.

Commissioner of Women and Child Development and Secretary, Women and Child Development department M.Thennarasan has been transferred as Municipal Commissioner of Surat replacing Milind Torawane.

Shahmeema Hussain, Director(Administration) Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd Vadodara has been transferred as Commissioner of Women and Child Development and Secretary Women and Child Development department replacing M.Thannarasan.

Principal Secretary Higher and Technical Education Pankaj Joshi has been transferred as Managing Director Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Vadodara relieving AM Tiwari of the additional charge of the post.

Principal Secretary Animal Husbandry, Cow Breeding, Fisheries and Cooperation Anjua Sharma has been transferred as Principal Secretary Higher and Technical education replacing Pankaj Joshi.

Dr S Murali Krishna, Managing Director Gujarat Urban Development Company Ltd has been transferred as Secretary to Aniaml Husbandry, Cow Breeding, Fisheries and Cooperation replacing Anju Sharma.

Mohammad Shahid on his repatriation to the State cadre has been appointed as Commissioner of Fisheries relieving NB Upadhyay of the additional charge of that post.

SL Amrani, Deputy Director General of Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration(SPIPA) Ahmedabad is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary, Labour and Employment department.

Vijay Nehra, Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot Municipal Corporation is transferred as Vic Chairman and Managing Director of Ports and Transport department replacing Pankaj Kumar.

Pankaj Kumar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation is appointed Principal Secretary Medical Services and Medical Education relieving JP Gupta of the additional charge of the post.

RB Barad, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) is transferred as Municipal Commissioner of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation replacing Harshadkumar Patel.

Milind Torawane, Municipal Commissioner of Surat Municipal Corporation is transferred as Secretary Housing and Nirmal Gujarat replacing Ashwani Kumar.

Milind Torawane should hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Gujarat Urban Development Company Ltd replacing MS Murali Krishna. He should also hold additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat Urban Development Mission.

S.Chakchhuak, Deputy Secretary of Panchayat, Rural Housing and Rural Development has been transferred as Superintendent of Stamps and Inspector General of Registration, Gandhinagar relieving Smt. Manisha Chandra of the additional charge of the post.

Ravi Shankar, Municipal Commissioner of Junagadh Municipal Corporation is transferred as Commissioner of Tribal department replacing Tushar Dholakia.

JD Desai, Member Secretary, Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board is transferred as Director of Labour relieving M.Thennarasan of the additional charge of that post.

VJ Rajput, Chief General Manager, Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd is transferred as Municipal Commissioner of Junagadh replacing Ravi Shankar.

Tushar Dholakia, Commissioner of Tribal Development is transferred as Member Secretary, Gujarat Water Supply and Sewrage Board.

Rakesh Shankar, Director of Municipalities is transferred as Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

DH Shah, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has been transferred as Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister.
