Surat: One of the leading diamond firms in India based in Surat, Harikrishna Exports, will once again gift cars, flats and jewelry as Diwali Bonus to its over 1700 best performing employees.

     Chairman of the firm which has its corporate office in Mumbai, Savji Dholakia has announced to give 1260 cars and 400 2BHK flats to its as many employees as bonus this Diwali. Apart from this 56 employees will get jewelry.

       The company which makes KISNA brand of jewelry had gifted 491 Fiat Punto cars and around 200 two BHK flats to its employees last time around. 570 employees were gifted diamond jewelry.

      A company employee today said that those getting cars this year have been given a choice to select between certain brands of Maruti or Nissan cars. The company will also pay the monthly installments for five years for the gifted flats.

     The expenditure on bonus this year also be over Rs 50 crore.

     Mr. Dholakiya who came here from Dudhana village of Amreli in seventies had a modest beginning but his company set up in 1992 is now a Rs 6000 crore firm. It has its corporate office in Mumbai on a sprawling premises.

      He started distributing cars as bonus in 2011 with giving it to three of the best performing employees. The firm has around 5500 employees in all.
