Another call center cheating US citizens busted in Ahmedabad, 2 nabbed

Ahmedabad: The cyber cell of the crime branch of Ahmedabad police has busted yet another call center in the city involved in cheating US citizens and nabbed two persons in this connection.
Investigating office J S Gedam said that the call center was being run by one Bhavin Patel and his maternal uncle’s son Rakesh Nair in the former’s residence in Makraba area of the city.
They used to cheat the US citizens in the name of loan sanction after fraudulently obtaining personal data about them.
A Laptop, one CPU, 3 magic jack device, 1 router and Rs 37500 in cash has also been recovered from them. The matter was bring further investigated.
