Mahesh Shah’s CA Sethna in double trouble, court rejects anticipatory bail plea, wife file fraud case

Ahmedabad: The troubles of Tehmul Sethna, the controversial Chartered Accountant of Ahmedabad based realtor Mahesh Shah who came to limelight owing to his disputed Rs 13860 crore declaration under the IDS on its last day, seems to be far from over.
On a day when a local court rejected his anticipatory bail plea filed for protection from possible arrest by the IT department in the above mentioned matter for making false declaration, his wife filed a case of fraud against him in Navrangpura police station.
PI B D Desai said that Kamalrukh Sethna, who has already filed a divorce petition for separation from Sethna, in her complaint has alleged that the CA had fraudulently sold a property in her name and withdrew the money to the tune of Rs 1.38 crore.
Desai said the matter was being investigated.
