Vibrant Gujarat has now become a prominent investors summit across the world: Jaitley

Ahmedabad: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit has now become a prominent investors summit across the globe.

Speaking to media persons here at the SVBP international airport on his arrival for participation in the 8 the edition of the biennial summit to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, Jaitley said that such a summit was not only beneficial for Gujarat but also for the whole country.

‘I am participating in this summit since the very beginning and have seen its changing forms. Now its has got a place among such prominent summits held across the globe,’ he said.

The Finance Minister said,’ Gujarat was a main center of investment in India and through such summits investors across the world see how delegates from industries and other sectors interact effectively at a single venue.’

He said that other states also organize investors summits but Vibrant Gujarat has proved to be the most effective among them.

Mr Jaitley will also moderate the Global CEO conclave to be held here this evening as part of the Vibrant Gujarat summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will interact with around 60 top CEO’s of leading companies from India and abroad during the conclave.
