Gujarat govt aims to give employment to 50,000 during Mega Job Fair week

Gandhinagar: Over 50,000 employment seekers will have opportunity to get employment during 11-17 February thanks to ‘Mega Job Fair’ programme which is going to be organized by Gujarat government.

Over 2200 employer firms are going to offer more than 40,000 jobs in manufacturing sector and 35,000 jobs in service sector to employment seekers. This figure is likely to go up even further. The sectors included are automobiles, textiles, engineering, construction, pharma, food bevarages, plastic, power, solar, cement, ceramic, marketing/sales, banking, finance, insurance, hotel, hospitality, health care management, security, tele communication and skill development.

Those youths registered in district employment office are being sent call letters to participate in mega job fair. They are also being communicated for same via SMS. The details pertaining to this exercise are also available at http://employment.gujarat.gov.in and http://talimrojgar.gujarat.gov.in.

Those who are not already registered are allowed to register on the spot.
