Gujarat Congress stoops to another low; unable to match Modi, now targets his 96-year old mother

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Congress in another low on Wednesday held protest programme in Gujarat capital Gandhinagar at a location you would not believe! A group of Congress party’s women wing held protest at the house in Gandhinagar where Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 96-year old mother lives. The women wing members of Gujarat Congress rushed here with a letter written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over women’s safety issue. A banner size of postcard and prior information of programme to media persons clearly indicated that this was a photo opportunity event, a typical style of protest, note of which would be taken in media. But the question is, photo event where? At the house where Prime Minister’s 96-year old mother lives? She is a private citizen. She is not into politics, nor the family of Modi’s brother who lives in that house. Why PM’s 96-year-old mother should be dragged in political event? Getting publicity by bringing Modi in any issue is something we have been seeing for last many years, but now when Modi is not here in Gujarat, the Gujarat Congress attempts to drag his mother in political event for what?
