Former MLAs, their family members to be reimbursed for private hospital treatment; Gujarat Assembly passes bill

Gandhinagar: According to a bill moved by the Gujarat government and passed unopposed in absence of Congress members today in assembly, former MLAs and their family members will get reimbursement of medical treatment in private hospitals equal to the treatment in government hospital. The benefits as per the decision taken by Health and Family Welfare department decision will be available with effect from 20th December 2016.
