Two workers of leading medicine company Lupin Pharmaceuticals injured in factory fire

Bharuch/Rajkot: At least two workers of the medicine manufacturing unit of leading pharmaceuticals company Lupin situated in Ankaleshwar GIDC area of Bharuch district were injured in a fire this morning, police said.
The fire, which broke out owing to unknown reasons, was later controlled. The two workers with burn injuries were admitted to hospital.
Meanwhile in a separate incident of fire in the premises of a cement factory in Gondal area of Rajkot reportedly destroyed some raw material.
The fire in the cement factory situated near Gomta Crossing on Rajkot-Virpur highway was later controlled. The scab build around the premises was burnt in the incident.
