-Gopal Italiya who hurled shoe at minister of state for home Pradipsinh Jadeja yesterday has been sent on two days remand by court. He will be in police custody till 3.00 pm on Sunday for questioning pertaining to section 120b which is about conspiracy. Police wants to probe whether there’s conspiracy behind Gopal’s action and who actually wer his partners in conspiracy. Gopal faced protest outside the court. Some youths upset with his criminal action told him he would soon face action. Police had to literally run with Italiya in order to save him from angry youths gathered outside the court. Italiya has been booked under various IPC sections including 120b, 337, 332, 354, 352, 355, 447.

– Rs 2 crore fake currency notes of Rs 2,000 denomination are captured by Rajkot police. Ketan Dave and Shailesh Patel are identified as two persons behind this fake currency racket.Police had earlier captured Rs 57.16 lakh value of fake currency notes in Rajkot. Patel and Dave said they recieved these notes from someone in Ahmedabad. Police suspects that accused had printed Rs 5 crore fake notes. On 24 February Mr. Ajani had filed complaint regarding Rs 50 lakh cheating by Dave and Patel. As pr Mr. Ajani he was needing cash money and therefore transferred money in bank through RTGS. When he demanded cash in exchange, Dave and Patel gave them bundles of cash in which only covering notes were real and others were fake notes. Police earlier recovered Rs 57 lakh fake notes and now over Rs 3.5 crore fake notes. High quality printing machines are seized.

– Mother of ISIS linked brothers Naeem and Vaseem in Rajkot told media persons that her sons are innocent and she would do everything for their release. She said Allah would help her sons.Father of Naeem and Vaseem said if police was tracking activities of Naeem and Vaseem for last two years, why police didn’t stop them from going ahead in wrong direction on very early occasion. If police had called us parents and told us about their activities, we could stop them there and then. Meanwhile a lawyer from Jamnagar Mr. Imtiyaz has decided to represent Naeem and Vaseem in court against the decision of bar association that no lawyer would fight case for Naeem and Vaseem. Imtiyaz said he has full faith in Allah.

– Tharad Police in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat raided a farm where farming of narcotics(Afeen) has been suspected. Samples of crops are sent to Forensic Science Laboratory(FSL).

-Twitter has removed twitter account of @_MiteshPatel for notorious activities – the latest a cartoon on nationalism, tempered from original one published in Europe. Following is the tweet of BJP Karnataka IT Cell that has filed complaint in this regard. So called Mitesh Patel’s Facebook page Modihunterr has also been removed.
