By-polls for 17 vacant municipality seats across Gujarat on 2nd April

Gandhinagar: State Election Commission of Gujarat has declared election programme for by-polls of 17 vacant municipality seats.
Notification of by-polls will be out on 10th March while polling will take place on 2nd April during 8 am – 5 pm. Counting will be held on 5 April.
Out of 17 seats that are going to witness polling, Vallabhvidyanagar and Shihor will see by-polls of two seats each while Vijapur, Sanand, Lathi, Amreli, Valbhipur, Mahuva, Dahod, Bhuj, Mahudha, Thasra, Palanpur, Upleta and Bhayavadar municipalities will see polling for one seat each.
