Over 17.5 lakh students to appear in Gujarat Board 10th and 12th exams starting tomorrow

Gandhinagar: Standard 10th and 12th exams of Gujarat Board will begin tomorrow. The exams will involve over 17.5 lakh students.
Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) is going to conduct these exams for which review meeting was held today by Education ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Nanubhai Vanani.
Out of total 17,59,225 students who are going to appear in board exams, 11,02,625 are in standard 10th while standard 12th general stream will have 5,14,965 students. Standard 12th Science stream will involve 1,41,503 students while cemester-2 Science students will be 132.
There are 1507 examination centers and 60,229 blocks that have 100% CCTV camera/tablets coverage.
143 prisoners will appear in standard 10th exam while 35 will appear in general stream exams.
