Construction of mosque in name of Babar in Ayodhya or elsewhere in India should not be allowed: Togadia

Ahmedabad, Mar 26

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) president Pravin Togadia put forth 12 points demand before the union government including immediate implementation of uniform civil code, a new uniform population law, provision of fund for free education of Hindu children, waver of debts of farmers and also construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya at the earliest by making a law in the parliament.

Warning that if the temple is not made in Ayodhya through an act then people will march there for doing the same at their own, he also said the construction of mosque in the name of Babar should not be allowed anywhere in the country.

Addressing a Hindu conference in the GMDC ground here today, Togadia said that those in power at Delhi should listen it with open ears that no mosque should be built in Ayodhya or elsewhere in India in the name of Babar.

‘There is only one way to built the Ram temple in Ayodhya and that is what Sardar Patel had taught us in case of re-construction of Somnath temple. Don’t talk like Sardar, act like him. He did not please Muslims by touching their beards or hugging them for construction of Somnath temple. It was constructed with the consent of the then union government. The parliament should make a law for the construction of Ram temple at the earliest failing which people would march there to do so at their own,’ the VHP leader in his fiery speech said.

Earlier he also made people reply to his questions put in form of small slogans to which the crowd replied in affirmative when he asked them whether they will go to Dwarka, Kashi and Mathura and also to Ayodhya for construction of Ram temple.

He put forth various demands in front of the union government with regard to the health and education related issues of Hindu populace and that of Hindu farmers.

Togadia said that the government gives educational assistance to 95 lakh students of Muslim community but don’t do so for Hindu students. It should be done.
He said that government should take steps to provide quality medicine for the Hindu populace of which 22 crore were suffering from hypertension and 20 crore from diabetes, around 40 lakh with cancer and lakhs with TB.

He also said that around 15 crore Hindu youths in the country were unemployed who should be employed. VHP itself was conducting skill training to provide employment of youths. In Karnavati (Ahmedabad) alone the organization would train around 50000 youth who would be employed with jobs of Rs 8 to 20 thouand. For the rural areas of Gujarat also skill training in 17 trades would be conducted and an assistance of Rs one lakh provided.

Talking about the plight of the farmers, Togadia said that in last nine years around 4 lakh farmers have committed suicide. ‘Steps should be made to make them prosper. They must get the due price of their products. If the farmer will prosper the country will prosper,’ he said suggesting the farmers not to use pesticides and chemical fertilizers and go for cultivation of stavia plant, which is deemed good for diabetes and also yield good income.

In his 12 point demand for the ‘prosperity of Hindus’, he included the ouster of 3 crore Bangladeshi infiltrators from the country to creat as many job opportunities for Hindu populace, complete ban on cow slaughter and return of displaced Kashmiri Hindus. He also demanded making of a uniform population law in which only one wife and two children should be allowed for any benefit form the government schemes and should also be deprived of voting rights. ‘ Hindus are decreasing in the country as the percentage of population of Hindus at the time of Independence was 86 but has come below 80 now. It is 79 and it won’t take much time in its getting down to 49. If this happenes no Hindu would survive in the country,’ he said adding that those who were not controlling the population of Muslims have no right to talk about development.

He said that it was not the responsibility of Hindus with 2 children to feed the Muslims who produce 25 children. The government should not pay for the free education of Muslim students from the earnings through taxes collected from Hindus. The population of Muslims was increasing. They have taken up many business including that of kite making, vegetable etc, they have also posed danger to our daughters and sisters. This 4 wives and 25 children system of Muslims was not acceptable. He also put forth the demand of appointing an IPS rank official in every district for the protection of Hindus from Jehadi activities.

During his speech the VHP leader made many direct and indirect attempts to attack the government at center.
