Muslim girl in love with Hindu youth abducted by family from court compound

Ahmedabad: Metro court compound in Ahmedabad witnessed filmy scenes on Friday. A Hindu youth Dinesh Parmar(25) resident of Ashok Mill old chawl in Bapunagar area and his lover Atika Tharadara(24), Muslim from Palanpur had both came here to Sub Registrar Office to register their marriage under Special Marriage Act after one month notice period. Atika’s parents and others came in two white color swift cars and forcefully taken Atika inside the car. When Dinesh tried to struggle he was attacked with chilly powder. When lawyers and others tried to intervene, they were shown sharp weapons by Atika’s relatives. Police is probing into the case. Dinesh and Atika were working together in same company when they fell in love. Dinesh is divorcee while Atika is unmarried.
