Severe heat-wave to continue, Surendranagar, Kandla Port hottest with 43.5°C

Ahmedabad: Severe heat wave conditions prevailed at several places in Saurashtra-Kutch region with Surendranagar and Kandla Port remaining hottest with joint maximum temperature of 43.5°C.

The heat wave would continue at various places across the state tomorrow as well.

At most of the places the mercury soared above 40°C and the deviation from normal temperature was as high as 10°C at some places.

In Ahmedabad the maximum and minimum temperatures were 41.4 °C and 20.7 °C respectively.

The met bulletin today said heat wave conditions at a few places with severe heat wave conditions at isolated places most likely over Saurashtra – Kutch and South Gujarat Region and Heat wave condition most likely at isolated places over North Gujarat region tomorrow.
