Ahmedabad:
– Bhaskar group Chairman Ramesh Agrawal suffered heart attack as soon as he arrived at Ahmedabad airport today. He was admitted to nearby Apolo hospital where he passed away.
– Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki has left for America reportedly for one week leaving Adivasi adhikar public meeting aside. State Congress is unsure about exact schedule of rest of two Adivasi adhikar public meetings.
– Supreme Court today asked the Gujarat trial court to consider the Asaram case urgently and finish the trial in a time bound manner.
– Gujarat High Court has dismissed a PIL moved by Patidar quota agitation organization leader raising questions on EVMs and seeking EVM with VVPAT or ballot paper use in state assembly election of Gujarat which is due in Dec 2017.
– BJP president Amit Shah rushed to Zydus hospital in Ahmedabad as he became grandfather of a daughter. Rishita, wife of Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah gave birth to a girl child yesterday evening.
