Senior Congress leader, son nabbed by ACB in Vadodara for taking Rs one lakh bribe

Vadodara: A senior Congress leader in Vadodara and his son were nabbed by the the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today for taking a bribe of Rs one lakh from a person for getting non-agricultural (NA) use approval certificate for his land.
Assistant Director of ACB here, P R Gehlot said that one Piyush M Patel had complained that one Abhishek S Upadhyay son of Vadodara district Congress committee general secretary Satish M Upadhyay had demanded Rs one lakh for getting NA issued for his land through Vadodara District Panchayat Committee in which his mother was on a high elected post.
The Congress leader was first caught red handed taking the money and then his son who had sent him to collect the money was also arrested.
