Govt increases kerosene quota for small boat owner fishermen

Veraval: Thousands of small boat owner fishermen will benefit from government’s decision to allot more kerosene. In response to representation made by Rajya Sabha MP Chunibhai Gohel, GSFC Director Kishorbhai Kuhada, Gujarat Kharva Samaj’s Sunilbhai Gohel, All India Machhimar Vice President Bhagubhai Solanki and others at Gandhinagar, the government has increased the quota of kerosene from 35 litre earlier to 150 litre now. The government has allocated Rs 2250 lakh for this purpose.
