BSF nabs Pakistani boat with 6 on board in Nal creek area off Gujarat coast
May 11, 2017
Bhuj: The border security force (BSF) today nabbed a Pakistani boat with 6 fishermen aboard in Nal creek area in the coastal area of Kutch district in Gujarat.
A BSF DIG rank official today said that the Pakistani fishermen had entered the Indian territory thinking that as the sea was a bit turbulent the BSF would have withdrawn its patrol boats inward.
‘We caught them with the help of our speed boats at around 0130 pm today in Nal sub creek in Sircreek region. Nothing objectionable has been found from them and prima facie they seem to be normal fishermen,’ he said.
When the sea is not turbulent the Pakistani fishermen leave their boats and flee to Pakistani territory quite close-by on feet on seeing the BSF patrol team but in turbulent sea it was not possible today so they were caught, the BSF official said.
They were being further interrogated.
