Now pay Ahmedabad Traffic Police e-chalan fine online

Ahmedabad: City traffic police has launched http://PayAhmedabadEchallan.org/ website for online payment of fine.
Fine in response to e-chalan issued by traffic police through CSITMS (City Surveillance and Intelligent Traffic Management System) under section 133 now can be paid through online payment gateway system, said additional police commissioner, traffic Dr Sudhirkumar Desai.
Traffic branch of Ahmedabad police on av average collects Rs 3 lakh to 4 lakh everyday as fine for traffic rule violations.
The user will need to type the challan number, vehicle registration number and driving license number to make a payment. They can take printout of the payment receipt also.
