Hardik Patel’s team members hold talk with Gujarat Congress chief

Ahmedabad: Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS) leader Hardik Patel today sent his three conveners to meet Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki and circulated messages in media about this meeting.

Hardik aides Dinesh Bambhania, Varun Patel and Manoj Panara – all three who have openly campaigned for Congress candidates in 2015 Panchayat polls met Solanki.

It is not clear what exactly was discussed in this closed door meeting.

After the meeting, Hardik’s team choose to reveal portion of the meeting. They said they had discussed four issues including quota to Patidars, actions against cops who acted against Patidar agitators in 2015, formation of Patidar Aayog and financial compensation to agitators who died during the violant agitation. They said they asked Congress’s stand on these issues.

They said Congress president replied that he would take these issues further to his party leaders and will come back to them.

It must be noted here that like Panchayat polls in 2015, Hardik and his team in which most leaders are actually Congress cadres want to transfer all votes of his supporters to Congress. Hardik has met the Congress leaders secretively in the past.
