May 17, 2017
Amreli: Non-seasonal rain and hailstorm accompanied by strong winds was witnessed in over half a dozen mango producing villages of Rajula taluka of Amreli district in Saurashtra region today.
Amid the humid hotness being experienced in most parts of Gujarat, the weather suddenly changed in Dipadia, Dhareshwar, Vavera and other 3 to 4 adjoining villages situated in Rajula taluka.
Later it rained with hailstorm and strong winds for quite some time.
The rain though gave some relief from hotness of the weather yet the hailstorm has damaged the mango crop in the orchards situated in the area.
