Amdavad Mayor’s two conditions if someone wants him to attend a function

Ahmedabad: City Mayor Gautam Shah has since last week declared that he would attend only those functions where organizers/hosts participate in tree plantation and promote segregated waste. Shah said his two conditions are that the event producer promote waste disposal by segregation and plants more and more trees. He said he would ask organizers/hosts to plant saplings on the day of the function. With this, an example will be set of what we wish to achieve, said Shah adding that, ‘without public support, it’s just not possible to create a greener city.’ Shah has made a target for plantation of one lakh trees across the city this year before May 2018.
