Surat: The CID crime today raided a factory allegedly involved in making fake Pepsi brand cold drinks in Katargam area of Surat in Gujarat.

Based on a tip off the CID crime team from capital Gandhinagar raided a factory in Vijaynagar- 2 under Katargam.

PSI M D Vasava said that the factory which used to make a cold drink under a local brand was found to be involved in making fake Pepsi cold drinks.

Materials used for making fake Pepsi drinks and bottles meant for filling it were recovered from the site.

One person has been nabbed in this connection and further investigation and interrogation was on, he added.
