– Ahmdabad Police has arrested scamster Raman Kapoor and wife Seema Kapoor near Kalupur railway station. Kapoors are taken to Anandnagar police station. They are booked for fraud charges. Kapoor was running a developers firm and even Gujarati print newspaper in Ahmedabad. Several people have filed cheating complaint against Kapoors. They were on run for last several months.

– Presidential candidate of BJP led NDA Shri Ramnath Kovind will be visiting Gujarat on July 13. He will do campaign for his presidential candidature among BJP MLAs an MPs who vote in Presidential election. Kovind is all set to win thanks to over 60% majority votes in his favour.

– The court has sent Sadhvi Jayshrigiri on two-day remand.

– Bharuch RTO office computers were under attack by hackers today. Ransomware fame hackers demanded bit coins in order to access the data in computers.

– CNBC report quoting sources said, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) wants to buy 100% Equity Of Mundra UMPP at Re 1 instead Of 51 % as proposed by Tata Power. GUVNL wants banks to buy 100% equity from Mundra promoters & then transfer to company. NTPC preferred for due diligence. GUVNL expressed to source coal and manage UMPPs on its own.
