Lion comes out of the cage at Rajkot zoo

Rajkot: In a bizarre incident, a staff member in Rajkot zoo forgot to lock the cage of lion today morning. The lion as a result of this lapse came out of the cage and started walking outside. If it had continued to walk ahead, it could possibly stepped outside the zoo.

According to Superintendent of Pradyuman park zoo Mr. Hirpara, the animal keeper had entered inside the cage to cater food to lion. He forgot the lock the gate of the cage when he came out.

The lion born in this zoo itself walked around his cage. He later himself came back to the cage.

The lion named Harivansh is three-year old.
