Chief Minister visits overflowing Aaji dam in Rajkot, will visit flood-hit Banaskantha tomorrow

Rajkot: Gujarat Chief Minister today visited Aaji dam site in Rajkot as the dam is filled to its top level and surplus water has started overflowing. Yeserday another important dam for Rajkot Nyari had also started overflowing. Top water level in both dams ensure year-long smooth water supply to people of Rajkot. The Chief Minister at Aaji dam site recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the dam site on June 29. He said Narendrabhai had visited Rajkot on June 29 and today it’s July 29 and 29-ft dam is overflowing.
The Chief Minister is going to visit flood-hit Banaskantha district tomorrow. He will be camping there to review the post-flood relief works.
