Lady resident doctor of VS hospital kills self owing to disease

Ahmedabad: A lady resident doctor of the municipal Corporation run V S hospital here today committed suicide after allegedly getting fade up of her own disease.
Police said that the body of Meghaviben V Patel (27), resident of Gandhinagar, who was a resident doctor of the hospital and third year student in the post graduate course of Pediatrics department of NHL medical college, was found in her hostel room today.
She had killed herself by means of overdose of an injectable medicine which was used to induce sleep/unconsciousness.
Dr Meghaviben was reportedly suffering from brain TB and gastritis and was undergoing treatment. PSI of Ellis Bridge police station D D Vasava said that she took the extreme step as she was also depressed and tensed regarding her examination and current state of health.
