Boat captured off Gujarat coast with 5,000 litre diesel

Okha: A boat with 5,000 litre diesel stock was caught by Indian Coast Guard of Okha coast of Gujarat. Okha 187 hovercraft was on patrolling behind Bet Dwarka island close to Balapar village when it spotted suspicious movement of a boat. All 11 persons on board of the boat were without identity cards. The boat was taken to Kankai jetty where Coast Guard officials, Customs, Marine Police, Intelligence Bureau etc agencies questioned the sailors who were later handed over to Marine Police.
