Abattoirs asked to remain shut on Gandhi Jayanti in Rajkot

Rajkot: Abattoirs in Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC) area will remain closed on 2nd October which is Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. Selling and storage of meat and fish will be also prohibited on this day. A notification in this regard has been issued by RMC. Those found in violation will face procedure as per BPMC act section 1949.
