Standard 2 student saves life of friend by hitting a leopard in Gujarat village

Kodinar: Bravery displayed by a small child studying in standard 2 at local school in Arithiya village of Kodinar belt of Saurashtra region in Gujarat saved life of his friend.

Nilesh Abhesinh Bhaliya is student of standard 3 while Jayraj Ajitbhai Gohil is student of standard 2 in same school.

On September 23, both children were playing games when a mid size leopard entered there and gripped Nilesh in its mouth.

Friend Jayraj standing nearby didn’t chose to flea away but hit leopard with a stone. This however didn’t make any effect on leopard and it continued to hold Nilesh in grip.

Jayraj later threw a toy car on leopard’s head. Thanks to the effect of a strange sound occurring from toy car, the leopard hit by it freed Nilesh and escaped.

Local school principal has recommended bravery award for Jayraj in communication with the government.
